Since the projectors we used were at different angles, the composition had to be distorted to match the perspective of the window plane.
This assignment required my teammates and I to utilize the space around us, and then change the experience of it. The Art Center Ellwood building was design with the intent of “looking outward”, where nature is always visible from the inside. However, the second phaseloses some of that openness, and in the lower floors, hallways feel suffocated with no views of the outside. Our ideas led us toward an exporation into video projection and live action footage of nature .
